The 2012 Debunked Video

March 27th, 2009 by admin

PART 1

2012 theories are a lot like snowflakes. No two are alike. There are a multitude of reasons as to why there is so much disagreement amongst theorists and researchers regarding events purportedly to happen in 2012, and more specifically, why they believe these events are going to happen.

Let us first examine what may likely be the most common 2012 theory, which claims that on December 21, 2012 there will be some form of mystical astronomical alignment with the center of our galaxy.

There are two main versions of this part of the theory, the first of which states that the alignment occur when the sun rises above the horizon on December 21st 2012 (the winter solstice) at which point the sun will rise in the middle of the milky way, thus causing an alignment between the earth sun and the galactic center

This does appear accurate and can be verified this with an astronomy program. However, there are at least two problems with this concept, the first of which is that this event is only significant from the earth’s point of view.

The precession cycle or the 26,000 year wobble of the earth only causes the EFFECT of the stars changing position on the horizon. The visual effect only occurs from the earth’s perspective, so that if you were viewing this “precession” from anywhere else in the solar system it would be completely insignificant and uneventful.

There is no gravitational force or radiation to be expected from this event because other than the tilt of the earth, nothing will be any different than the last few thousand solstices and as such, the Earth will be no closer to the galactic center than any other day.

If the Mayans did in fact point to this event with their calendar (which we will look into later) it should be noted how the overall event is harmless and seemingly insignificant beyond its role in time keeping and/or for religious purposes. But there is no reason to believe it will be an event of a magnitude so great that there will be a pole shift or any other cataclysms, as in reality it is a visual illusion and not an “Earth changing” event of any true physical power.

Another issue with the December 21, 2012 date is that because the precession is so slow there is almost no difference between say, December 21, 2008 and , and December 21, 2012. This is because technically, the sun will “rise in galactic center” for this year’s winter solstice, just as it will in 2012.

In fact here is a quote from John Major Jenkins one of the major proponents of the 2012 theories from a part of his website called “Response to Counter arguments ” he says:
“In the interest of clarity, I will mention that it would be more accurate to say that the alignment occurs in the ERA of A.D. 2012; because precession is such a slow phenomenon, fifty years on either side of 2012 might be appropriate.”
by John Major Jenkins

The second camp of belief surrounding the 2012 alignment issue is probably the more significant of the two because it is dealing with the solar system’s actual location in relation to galactic center. This is the idea that our little solar system is moving around the center of the galaxy every 225 years or so million years or so, and while doing so it is moving up and down in a cycle crossing the plane every 33 million years.

So are we going to cross that galactic plane in 2012?

Absolutely not! According to the journal Nature, as well as many others, there is evidence of crossing this plane 3 million years ago. This would mean that we are moving away from the galactic plane and won’t be due to cross it for another 30 million years and that’s failing to mention that the margin of error in these calculations in at least 2.1 parsecs or about 6.5 light years making images like these and statements like this: completely meaningless.

What about a Pole Shift?
Although many theorists disagree on whether this pole shift will be magnetic or a physical shifting of the crust of the earth the reason for this happening in or around 2012 is usually cited as one of the following:

- Planetary alignment
- Planet X or Nibiru and its comets tail
- A tremendous sun flare
- An asteroid

The first one is easy enough, there is no planetary alignment on Dec 21st 2012, this is what the planets will look like on that date. There is a link on the screen to an online program that you can check for yourself too.

Lets look at Planet X
The idea of Nibiru is traced back to Zecheriah Sitchin and his translations of Sumerian texts.
and specifically to his interpretation of the VA 243 cylinder seal which he says shows that the Sumerians knew of 12 planets (minus the sun and the moon which they considered planets) and as such, this would mean there is another planet.

Sitchin’s interpretation of the seal is wrong. The Sumerians have an unambiguous symbol for the Sun: a circle with four triangles around it like rays, and squiggly lines between the triangles. That is emphatically not the symbol in the seal. The symbol used in the seal is that of a bright star, this symbol for stars is very commonly used, and this is the symbol we have in the seal so even Sitchin’s basic premise is wrong. for details on this and what the seal actually means see Dr. Michael Heiser paper The Myth of a 12th Planet: A Brief Analysis of Cylinder Seal VA 243 available at sitchin is wrong .com

Sitchin claims that the picture shows Uranus, Neptune and Pluto, but since the Sumerians didn’t have telescopes, they could therefore only have known of those planets had aliens told them of their existence. But if aliens told them about those planets, why did they fail to mention the moons of Jupiter and Saturn, or Saturn’s rings? The seal doesn’t show any of these features.

Also note that the Sumerians thought the Moon and Sun were planets, when they aren’t. Certainly aliens would know that the Sun and Moon are not planets! Sitchin is picking and choosing things in the picture to support his arguments and ignoring things that don’t support it like the inscription on the seal itself which has nothing do with his theory. This isn’t science, its fantasy. It’s also wrong. If Sitchin does know about a incoming planet he didn’t learn about it from this seal

Another argument against Planet X and its supposed 3,600 year orbit is the absence of any evidence for it.

For Planet X to be here in less than a decade, it can’t be farther than a billion or so kilometers away. Even at that distance, it would be one of the brightest objects in the sky. Even if it were too faint to be seen with the naked eye, remember, Pluto is 5 billion kilometers out, and although tiny, can be easily detected using modern equipment. Pluto is way smaller than Planet X is supposed to be.

There is simply no way a big planet so close to Earth could have escaped astronomers’ detection– even amateur astronomers.

Some will claim it is because it is hiding behind the sun and that’s why we can’t detect it. If it was behind the sun it would be moving at its fastest point considering its projected orbit and it would only be behind the sun for a very short time.

There are a lot of claims about planet X out there like that observatories are being closed to keep the information from the public which is not true at all, besides that fact that they would need to confiscate every telescope in the world to keep this secret hidden, also there have been postings of pictures and other so called evidence all of which have been shown to be a hoax.

There are actual pole shifts that do occur. Both magnetic pole shifts and physical pole shifts. We are in fact the middle of a long process of a magnetic pole shift, the biggest effect of which is that we will have to realign our compasses in a few hundred years, here is an excerpt from an article from NASA

Reversals take a few thousand years to complete, and during that time-contrary to popular belief-the magnetic field does not vanish. “It just gets more complicated,” says Glatzmaier. Magnetic lines of force near Earth’s surface become twisted and tangled, and magnetic poles pop up in unaccustomed places. A south magnetic pole might emerge over Africa, for instance, or a north pole over Tahiti. Weird. But it’s still a planetary magnetic field, and it still protects us from space radiation and solar storms.

And I might add that it is ridiculous to pinpoint a specific date such as Dec 21 2012 for this happening not just because it’s such a slow process but because the proposed reasons such as galactic alignment aren’t even true thus making it a non issue.

The other kind of pole shift is a physical pole shift.

Lets first set the record straight that this would require an event of tremendous energy and that it is not part of any cycle or natural occurrence and no increasing of solar energy would be enough to cause this.

We have actually had a few degree shift of the poles in the past, but not a reversal by any means. It is what is called a true polar wanderer.

William Sager in an article entitled Texas A&M Oceanographer Challenges Plate Tectonics As Reason For Poles’ Shift says “Our data set indicates that this polar shift took place at a rate between 5 and 10 degrees per million years,” he said. “Essentially it happens within the blink of an eye, in terms of geological time.”

What this is saying is that scientists who call this event fast, call 5-10 million years “fast” and that predicting a specific date for this to happen is ridiculous. As discussed earlier, that that claim the Mayans predicted the event using the understanding of precession fell into the same trap as the galactic center theory couldn’t have any less significance in the shifting of poles because the precession only changes our perception on the sky it doesn’t actually tell us where we are in the sky.

Let’s take a look at what supposedly got this whole thing started the Mayan calendar.

The first question is did the Mayan long count calendar predict the end of the world? No. there is no reference to this idea in Mayan culture; these ideas are imposed by us and not the Mayans.

Even JMJ openly states, ” I do not concur with the Neo-Atlantean pole-shift cataclysmologists on the idea that the world will literally end in 2012. With this distinction in mind, I admit that I still occasionally write, as a shorthand note, “end-date” or “end-date in 2012.” This does not mean that I believe the Maya calendar or the world will end in A.D. 2012.” John Major Jenkins

Often times, video presentations covering these topics, be it a source such as the History Channel, a 2012 YouTube video, or even an internet article will make the jump from the resetting of the calendar to it must mean a major cataclysmic event in a very slick way usually not dwelling on this important transition.

Those that do mention the transition usually cite one of the following reasons to tie it together.

1.) That a Mayan ball game was actually symbolism that told us about galactic alignment
2.) That certain pictorials of the sacred tree also speak of galactic alignment.

While I don’t agree with the logic used to make these connections, and believe them to be farfetched and in most cases frivolous, for the sake of the argument I will say that the Mayans did, for whatever reason choose to end their calendar on this 2012 solstice because of the visual effect of the sun rising in the galactic center on that date.

They fully knew of this effect, which again is only a visual one as viewed from earth. It would only be of local religious or mathematical significance, that is to say if the Mayans believed it was a symbol of rebirth when the sun appeared in the milky way galaxy it would be their prerogative, but it wouldn’t have any galactic merit. It would only make sense from the earth point of view. i would also suggest that this viewpoint of rebirth has undertones which I find disturbing because it seems that we are being taught to believe the same religion using fairly obvious deceptive techniques.

There is also this idea that it that they were able to miraculously determine these events, but it should be noted that western society discovered the precession of the equinoxes at least 100 years BEFORE the Mayans it wasn’t exactly a new concept the calculations to determine these events are not magical, but a matter of mathematics and astronomical observances,
Their culture remained stable for centuries, And they kept
records. So, it is entirely possible for an astronomer to plot the positions of
some stars at midnight, at the equinox, and his grandson to plot the same stars 72
years later and realize that the stars have all shifted one degree in that time.
Multiply by 360, and you get the precession cycle of 26,000 years.
Almost certainly, this is how they did it. Because that’s all it takes.

So were the Mayans predicting the end of the world …definitely not.
‘in fact the entire reason as far as I can tell for this hype is that the Mayans restart their calendar , much like we do on December 31st
on a solstice. which they had the mathematical skill to do fairly easily.

We are the ones responsible for this 2012 fever we have put a lot of words in the Mayans mouths we have thrown pole shifts and planet x and solar flares and everything else into this mix all of which have no connections and not only weren’t suggested by the Mayans it would be impossible to predict any of these things using the any of the methods we are told they used to make such predictions.

I think there could be many reasons why this idea is so actively being promoted to the world I encourage you to draw your own conclusions.
However, while doing the research on this I think finally found why I think it’s being done, the following is my personal view, and it may be extreme if you don’t agree with it I encourage you not to throw the baby out with the bath water, because the 2012 theories are still wrong no matter what, if you don’t want to hear my analysis feel free to shut the video off at this point.

Many 2012 researchers are quick to point out how things will be getting much worse upon the approach to 2012 and we will see many cataclysms
and earth changes on the way to our promised “enlightenment”.
I think that this has to be promoted as much as possible to people so that when they see these kinds of things happening in the next few years, which I agree will happen but for different reasons, everyone will try to endure these things thinking it’s a natural cycle never realizing the obvious fact, which is that The bible clearly prophesied what the days before the return of Jesus and so called birth pangs would look like and even why they were happening and what to do about it. This 2012 thing is both the proverbial carrot on a string which keeps us looking for our “illumination” while simultaneously gives us pride that we know that all these terrible things are a result of “science” thus there is no reason to pay attention to anything else.

I hear a lot of criticism of the bible, I’m not too impressed with most of them, but surprisingly the one that could really have an impact is never used, even by the fiercest critics.
Which is challenging the fact that the bible has never missed in regards to prophecy that is, it is 100% accurate and the Bible itself is full of prophecies almost 25% prophecy at and because of the Septuagint it can be demonstrated easily that it was written before the events it prophesied happened, these are not vague prophecies either, they all talking about specific kingdoms, people, places times, even names. all of which came true.
Considering its track record it should be the most important book on our bookshelf.

I just happened to stumble across your site as I was looking through some other blogs and after reading this entry I felt the need to comment. Personally, I give some merit to the 2012 idea in a general sense. Now I don’t expect fireworks, or the end of the world, or instantaneous enlightenment but I do feel that we will be in a position for a spiritual catalyst. Let me explain. I guess it really starts with my perception of the mayan people. A lot of modern westerners perceive the world through science and materialism (physicality of reality) and seem to think we’ve got the picture all figured out. Some have a degree of spirituality but they express it through someone else’s idea of religion instead of their own. It seems from the essay that you are a Christian and I don’t want to offend you in any way, so please don’t take my beliefs as an attack on you, I just want to express my perspective. I feel that religion is general is an expression of spirituality that takes the spirit out of the equation. For me, spirituality is about self-discovery and imagination. It’s about discovering the divine consciousness within and figuring out reality for yourself. From that perspective, religion holds people into a dogmatic system that makes them feel afraid, guilty, insecure, and helpless. What comes out of that is a view of reality that just doesn’t have room for the unexplainable. Now I know that is a very stereotypical statement, not all followers of religion are like that. But I feel that overall, religions like Christianity close down people’s imagination and from that we get things like modern science and a perspective that we are the pinnacle of development and therefore any culture older than us must have been more primitive and just plain “dumb” compared to us. (perhaps superstitious would be a better word than dumb) My point is that while the mayans may not have had the technology that we have but they had a deep spiritual connection that we don’t have. Their shamans and sorcerers could peer into the depths of reality and step into different states of awareness that put them in contact with the divine, much like the prophets of the Bible who drank soma and had divine visions. These mayan shamans had sacred plants that would allow them to transcend the physical and experience a reality that we just can’t comprehend. Modern humans sacrificed that ability for our impressive technical ability. Personally I don’t know that we’re better off this way, but it may have been a choice that we had to make in order to evolve spiritually. I believe that the mayan shamans were aware of natural cycles that we don’t know anything about. One of those cycles was the evolution of consciousness. So, for me, 2012 means the completion of a cycle that signifies an evolutionary leap in consciousness, but its not just all cut and dry, we’re homo sapiens one moment and homo spiritus the next. What we’re coming into is an era of enhanced spiritual energy that will act as a catalyst for those who choose to use it. So for the people who utilize divine energy in their own self development, this coming era will be one of faster, easier development. Basically, it will be easier to bypass the ego to access the true self, the divine within. If you’re not one of those people then what you’re empowering is the ego and all of its narcissistic ways. This is why people expect the end of the world. All of our worst qualities will take over in the people who choose to ignore their spirit. Our reality is a mirror for our inner selves, it reflects what we are in our souls. If you see the world from a different perspective you might see this as the return of christ. With all of that said, I need to address some of your counter-evidence. Zecharia Sitchien doesn’t base everything in his books on that on seal. He is a respected archeologist, aliens aside. He also has a number of books that span from sumeria, to egypt, to south america, to india and more. I don’t really think he would base his entire premise on one cylinder seal, so I don’t think you can discredit his whole theory by disproving one tiny piece of evidence. And the sitchien is wrong site is maintained by a guy who has a personal vendetta against Z.S., that guy also does believe that aliens came to earth and genetically engineered humans, he just has a slightly different theory than Z.S. You should read his books, they’re good. As for the Bible, just because people say their is a Septuagint doesn’t mean that there was. You’re putting an awful lot of faith in a book that was written by….wait, who was it written by? Oh yea, no one knows. It was written over 1500 years ago by men. Even if it were at one time a divine document, there was a council held to decide what books were good for the religion and which ones didn’t fit into what they wanted christianity to be. If these books were divine then they should have all be included. Plus, think of how many times its been re-written, re-translated, or re-worked to fit whatever was needed socially and politically at the time. I’m a lot more prone to have faith in a personal experience of the divine within than in a book that, lets be honest, has nothing backing it up besides the word of men. As for us putting these words into the mouths of mayans, I agree. However, that doesn’t mean that they didn’t see this event as something important (more than just an aesthetically pleasing celestial event). You have to understand that we have a drastically different perception of reality than they did and there are a lot of writings of theirs that support the idea that the end of this particular calender is significant. You should check out some books by Jose Arguelles who was one of the first to start talking about 2012 and the mayans.

There’s one more aspect that I want to include. That is that I agree that this is mostly just hype. Its being abused and misinterpreted intentionally to distract us from our self-development. But thats a whole different road that I’m not gonna go down.

There are some more aspects that could go mentioned but to be honest, I’m tired and its late so I’ll stop now.

Remember, i don’t mean to offend or say that I’m right and you’re wrong. Neither of us knows whats right or wrong in this world. The only thing we really know is that we don’t know anything. Reality and God are so far beyond our comprehension that whatever speculations we make are just irrelevant.

thank you for your time, bless you and again, don’t be offended by anything I say. And for that matter just forget everything I say, it doesn’t really matter anyway. What matters is your experience and your reality.

Hi! I’m from Mexico. The Maya prophecies don’t exist. Mayas have never written anything about 2012 and the end of the world. There are a lot of people that have invented those prophecies to earn money telling lies.

The cycle of 5,125.3661 years of the Maya calendar will finish on december 21, 2012 and tne next day it will start another cycle. Mayas never said anything about the end of the world on that date.

But the bible was only based off of events that happened while it was being written. The Roman Catholic church has also confirmed this. All of the “Prophesies” that are contained within its pages are just recordings of events unfolding while it was being written. It just so happens that history always repeats itself, no matter what. Just look at it, the Fall of Troy, the Fall of Rome, the Fall of Babylon, The Fall of Constantinople, WWI, WWII, The Cold War, The Persian Gulf Operation, the Iraq Invasion, the War against terrorism. In fact, Pre-Christian religions, such as Roman-Paganism, Hinduism, and even voodoo, have proven to be more accurate “Predicting” the “future” than the Christian Bible. There is simply too much repetition along the lines of history to say that the bible is predicting the future. Although I do agree with many of your points disproving 2012, I do have to disagree with turning to the bible, since the bible itself is irrelevant to 2012 since the bible itself was written by more than 1 person over a period of 1,600 years

I want to start off by saying, I believe in the bible and Jesus Christ, and i believe everything it says. i have studied biblical prophecies for several years, and over the last few years have studied prophecies from other cultures like the sumerians and Hopi and several others as well, as well as historical records of cultures from around the world, one thing i have noticed when it comes to prophecy, they all pretty much say the same thing about end time events, although the language may be a little different in their descriptions, they still talk of major cataclysmic changes to our planet, the bible is still, to me, the most reliable source, but it’s prophecies are some of the most descriptive and destructive events to take place, not unlike those of the 2012 prophecies. It does say in the bible that the mountains will be removed from their places, and many, many other geologic transformations cause by a great earthquake, stars falling to earth and caused the waters to become bitter,( sounds like some type of asteroid impact to me)nuclear weapons etc., but a polar shift could also be too blame as well, it is not impossible for such an event to happen, just because we haven’t seen it happen, doesn’t mean it can’t. In almost every historical record of mankind’s past a great flood or deluge has been written about, i believe this is a a very true account of our world’s history, so i read these prophecies that have been written by many other cultures, study them carefully, compare them with what the bible says and put them all together, because they all belong together, but not in the bible, but as a reference to all events that deal with the end times, i believe all these prophecies correlate to the same end time event. These prophets from all these different cultures had visions of the same things, which i believe were given to them by God, even if they thought it came from their Gods, it was still the same God, they just didn’t know better then. I think all prophecies should be looked at, studied, and taken into consideration, there are some i do not consider real or i am very skeptical of, so not everything is to believed, but our history that we have been taught in school is not accurate of our real human history, far more has happened in this world that we realize, i mean they still teach that Columbus or Amerigo discovered America, which we all know is not true, the Vikings were here hundreds of years before they even were born, and other European people were here before them, there is archaeological evidence that supports this, but you don’t hear about it much, because mainstream science doesn’t like to be wrong. My point is, don’t discount other prophetic writings, i do not think the world will end on December, 21st, 2012, but i do think something will happen, and whatever does happen it is important to have your family ready, your soul ready and your mind ready, because when it goes down, it is going to be a wild ride, and if we see the prophecies of revelation come to pass in our lifetime, whether it be tomorrow or 2012, it is going to be hell on earth, and things will be alot different than they are right now, i for one do not believe in a rapture, the bible never says one will happen, that was something invented by the Millerites in the 1800’s(i think it was them, I’m not sure at the moment, but somebody did at that time) it does say we will be caught up in clouds with Jesus, but that is only when the final battle of Armageddon starts, but until then it will be hell on earth, because there will be a period of time when it before that happens, so get prepared, have a plan, and be ready, never before in the history of our planet have we been here at this point where all these prophecies could happen at anytime, because once the very final days arrive, it will happen, and it will happen quickly.

I wonder…has anyone ever thought about how the media itself plays a major role in our beliefs about the “end-times” theories? Never in the history of the world do we receive and pass along information so quickly as we do now at this very point in time. Over the last century, we have come a very long way from sending mail by horseback or by train, to being able to communicate by cell phone, text messaging, e-mail, sharing information like this via websites, blogs, or forums, even posting video messages via webcams or other video equipment. There’s no longer a need to have a passport when you can visit another country without having to physically leave your home!!

My point is that we have so much information about anything and everything at our immediate disposal, anytime that we need it, as quickly as we need it, and from whomever we need that information from. Is it possible, that because infomation moves so much more quickly in our time period, that maybe that’s why we hear about these “rumors-of-wars”?? Over 100 years ago, or even 1000 years ago, one side of the world had no idea what was happening on the other, until many years later, maybe even hundreds.

Is it possible, that all of these hurricanes, forest fires, earthquakes, volcanic activity, and whatever other natural disasters that could possible occur…that they all occur “more often” because we know of them exactly when they happen?? Is it possible that all of these events are actually, in reality, not out of the norm for our planet?? Do we just think that they are happening more often than they did in history because we have the technology now to reach into the farthest corners of the earth and deepest depths of the sea and to farthest reaches the universe that we can know right now exactly when something is happening?

Have all of our scientist and geologists and acheologists and any other “-ist’s” of the world really sat down and compared all of their findings and documented information to see the patterns, to show us, the human race, that the events of today are increasing, or are they just a part of a regular pattern of events throughout the world’s history that our media, extremists, and conspiracy theorists have just hyped up on to get our attention and to distract us from living ordinary lives?

I’m almost 30 years old, and no, I do not have a college degree, nor am I a scholar by any means on any particular subject. I’m just another lost soul out there seeking answers, but hoping to not be deceived as well. I grew up in a very Bible-based christian denomination, but as I have gotten older and started to question a lot of what I was taught to believe, and due to certain life-experiences, have changed denominational affiliations a few times and have had the opportunity to learn what different christian denominations believe about the Bible. I am a man who believes in God, and in Jesus Christ, but I often find it very difficult to believe that every single word in the Bible applies to our culture, our generation, and/or our circumstances of today.

So with the questions I asked above, I’m wondering if the discussions we have here about the year 2012, or any other “end-times” theories floating around out there, if any of this stuff is easier to explain and less complicated than we have made it out to be? Could it just be because information is more easily obtainable in our generation than it was in generations past and extremist out there are screaming that the end is near when in reality, all of the bad things we hear about everyday are just a part of a natural cycle of events that repeat throuthout history?

Saw 2012 this weekend. The science was absent, or barely approached the fringe. Magnetic pole shifts have often happened on this planet, but it involves exchanging the magnetic poles, not the physical poles. The landmasses don’t budge during a magnetic pole shift – that’s how we can see the shift in the geologic record. Second, in the movie Asia moves 1500 miles while the plane is in the air. Consider that the flight takes 15 hours – then Asia had 15 hours to move 1500 miles. That means the continent was moving at 100 miles an hour. How much force is required to accelerate a whole continent to a velocity of 100 mph? What happens to the other landmasses and the oceans? How much force is required to STOP the continent from a speed of 100 mph? This is incredibly unbelievable. They had those people getting off the ark after a month at sea. I’m guessing Asia is still galloping around the globe after a month. The disruption of the globe caused by a galloping continent makes the Yellowstone eruption seem like a candle in a tornado. And that ship wouldn’t be afloat, and neither would Africa. Most important, how do neutrinos “mutate”? That’s like saying the protons on the planet have mutated. That’d be very bad I think. And how do “mutated neutrinos” interact ONLY with core? I’m thinking they’d interact with the surface as well, heating the surface and us to melting before the core went super-critical.

The movie was fun – go see it – but don’t even start to believe it. We need to fund 2 days of curriculum in our schools to combat the wrong thinking it will trigger.

Revelation 14:9-11 “Then a third angel followed them, shouting, “Anyone who worships the beast and his statue or who accepts his mark on the forehead or on the hand must drink the wine of God’s anger. It has been poured full strength into God’s cup of wrath. And they will be tormented with fire and burning sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and the Lamb. The smoke of their torment will rise forever and ever, and they will have no relief day or night, for they have worshiped the beast and his statue and have accepted the mark of his name.”

Stop mixing your own philosophies with God’s word. You don’t have to fill in any blanks. And your assumptions are reckless.

By telling people that you don’t think that taking the mark of the beast means “it’s over for them” is not only wrong, but a lie and could mislead people about the serious consequences of receiving the mark. If you don’t take it, you die. If you do take it, you die.

    Check yourself. Before God does.

@JesusFreak you certainly missed the point of what I said, I supposed I should be more careful, as there are many people like yourself that hear what they want to hear.

It will be over for them, but my point was that the mark does something to their heart to sear their will. the effect would be the same, the verse you quoted doesn’t have anything to do with that.

  21. Majestic Says:

Wow, you have made some interesting assumptions, just like the 2012 doom and gloomers. You, like most, are totally missing the point about 2012. Its The END of a WORLD SYSTEM, not end of world – we both agree there. The Mayan calendar had ‘tones’ in it. This is because they knew of what is called ‘The music of the spheres’ – the frequencies given off by stars, planets and our sun etc. ALL these frequencies govern the unfoldment and evolution of consciousness. You can learn all about this over at http://www.lunarplanner.com. Carl Calleman has also hit the nail on the head and outlines the time scale for the baktun cycles and ties them in with major events on Earth. Solar flares, supernovas, earth and planet frequencies all effect the human nervous system which directly effects the evolution of consciousness. So I guess 2012 is not that glamorous afterall… Whilst some things may take place that seem unfair, it’s all a natural part of our evolution. Some may call this a ‘divine plan’ We are also only 3/4 of the way thru the 25630 year precessional cycle, see lunarplanner.com for evidence of this. This is siderial astrology folks, it’s about understanding what we can’t see… Read and learn and dont have any fear, things will come good! Cheers!
